These 3 books and 1 craft mag, plus 2 books for Tom cost me $17.00, I was so happy I wanted to go back and buy more, but got the cups and tray, so felt I'd done well.

And last and also least, this, I'm not telling you what it is and I'm confident you'll not guess. It has taken so much blood, sweat and unravelling to get to this stage and I'm determind to finish, but it is so frustrating, the pattern is supposed to be easy. Ha I say to that, looking at it I think it looks like a snakes head, imagine eyes and a red felt tongue and I think it would look good, but that's not what it's meant to be. So lucky you, 2 posts in one day, I see it says it's the 16th, here in the Land of Strange knitted things it is actually Saturday the 17th. Love Aunt Bee.

I love the colour of the wool you are using. Can't wait to see what you are knitting. I thought socks at first, but as you said we'd never guess, I have no idea!
ReplyDeleteYes it is socks I forgot to hide the needles but it isn't looking like a sock if you saw all of it. It is not anything like the photo in the book, but I'm continuing on becos hope beats eternal in my heart.
